is her battle name,she got her battle name by bringing pitchers to the soldier and they
would yell here comes molly with the pitchers and soon they were just yelling molly
pitcher!
Molly Pitcher was born in 1754. She moved to Pennsylvania and became a house maid in
1769. She got married in 1775. She got her nick name in 1778. She remarried in 1822. She
died in 1832.

She remarried because her husband drooped dead because of the heat, but
Molly Pitcher/Mary Hays ran up on to the battle feld and started firing his cannon along
with the other soldiers.
Molly Pitcher/ Mary Hays was a war heroine she
would not stop helping people no mater how bad it looked or was. Five years later Gorge
washington decided to repay Molly Pitcher/ Mary Hays for her help in the war by giving her
$40 a month.
