Aunt Noodle Riddles (April 2009)

Aunt Noodle is a little bit strange.   After all, she might like school, but not like education.  Aunt Noodle might enjoy food, but not eating

Can you solve these riddles?

Ms. Gibbs Projects (March 2009)

Here are some projects the students have completed in technology class.

Cloning an Alien (February 2009)

Students drew an alien, then wrote a description so that someone else could draw their alien (without seeing the original drawing).  We sent these to Mr. Wear's class.  His students took our description and drew what they thought the alien looked like.

Quick Writes (January 2009)

I hadn't planned to put these on the web, but I was   so impressed the students' writing that I just had to share.

I'm Talking Poems (November 2008)

Ever get tired of words such as good, nice, or happy?  Well are class worked on substituting more vivid, descriptive words for these while writing some pretty cool poetry.  I'm talking smoking poetry!

ABC Sentences (October 2008)

Can you create a sentence in which each new word begins with the next letter of the alphabet?  Well our students did and they had some great results.

Polygons (September 2008)

We created large polygons from individual polygon shapes.  While doing this students had to keep in mind the attributes of polygons.
